What we want to do instinctively is to jump in and solve it for our children but they need to learn the skills to deal with it and this is what we talked about: Children can be cruel – it's hard to hear when someone says they don’t want to be your friend or don’t invite you to their birthday party, but as a parent what can you do / say when this happens?
