From a POW camp to the Lacken Road: The extraordinary story of the Waterford blaa

The story of the Waterford blaa as made by Walsh's Bakehouse can be traced back three generations of the family.That's according to Dermot Walsh, current custodian of Walsh's Bakehouse, together with his brother Michael.Last week, the 'blaa' made its way into the Oxford English Dictionary.To celebrate this, Dermot joined Ollie and Dymphna live in studio to reflect on the incredible journey from 1921 until the present day.Click on the image to listen back in full.
