From Apostles to Apostasy: What Happened After the Book of Acts?

from Word of Mouth · host Cj Garcia

What happened after the apostles died?In this explosive episode of the Word of Mouth Podcast, I dive deep into early church history, and expose the slow drift away from apostolic truth. You’ve heard of the “Church Fathers” but did they stay faithful to the gospel of Acts 2:38?I take a bold, Bible-based look at:🔥 Polycarp of Smyrna – Was he faithful to the apostles or the start of something else?
🔥 St. John Climacus – Mysticism or the message of the cross?
🔥 Augustine of Hippo – Brilliant thinker or theological hijacker?
🔥 St. Basil the Great – Defender of tradition or divider of the Godhead?
🔥 Marcus of Egypt – Holiness through effort or by the Holy Ghost?📖 This isn’t just history — it’s about truth. The early Church may have been sincere… but sincerity without Spirit is still off course.➤ If they didn’t preach Jesus-name baptism…
➤ If they didn’t preach the infilling of the Holy Ghost…
➤ If they didn’t preach what Peter preached on the Day of Pentecost…Then it’s time to ask:
👉 Are we following the Word… or just the early religious world?🚨 This episode will challenge traditions, stir up questions, and drive you back to the Book of Acts.⛪ Let’s go back to Pentecost.🎙️ Subscribe to the Word of Mouth Podcast📲 Follow me on Instagram, TikTok, and YouTube#JesusName #OnenessPentecostal #BookOfActs #ChurchFathers #ApostolicDoctrine #Acts238 #FalseTradition #PentecostalPodcast #TruthOverTradition #WordOfMouthPodcast

This Impact Studios production is a collaboration with the Governor family, UTS Faculty of Law and Jumbunna Institute for Indigenous Education and Research. The Last Outlaws teamKatherine Biber - UTS Law Professor and Chief InvestigatorAunty Loretta Parsley - Great-granddaughter of Jimmy Governor and the Governor Family Historian Leroy Parsons - Governor descendant, Narrator and Co-WriterKaitlyn Sawrey - Host, Writer and Senior ProducerFrank Lopez - Writer, Managing Next Generation Energy Systems Cambridge University Background Stakeholders working with energy systems have to make complex decisions formulated from risk-based assessments about the future. The move towards more renewables in our energy systems complicates matters even further, requiring the development of an integrated power grid and continuous and steady transformation of the UK power system. Network flows must be managed reliably under uncertain demands, uncertain supply, emerging network technologies and possible failures and, further, prices in related markets can be highly volatile. Mathematicians working with engineers and economists, can make significant contributions to address such issues, by helping to develop fit-for-purpose models for next generation energy systems. These interdisciplinary approaches are looking to address a range of associated problems, including modelling, prediction, simulation, control, market and mechanism design and optimisation.
