After, team follows up on the recent news regarding minor league players appearing in the upcoming MLB The Show 20 (spoiler alert: it isn’t good). Then, the team takes a way-too-early look at the upcoming 2020 MLB Draft, in which the Mets make their first selection at 19. Steve is interested in CJ Van Eyk from Florida State, Lukas is interested in Reid Detmers from the University of Louisville, Ken is intersted in Heston Kjerstad from the University of Arkansas, and Thomas is intrested in Pete Crow-Armstrong from the Harvard-Westlake School in Los Angeles. They also share who they’d like the Mets to select with their second round pick (53) and their compensation pick for losing Zack Wheeler (70).
