Kevin P. Henry sits down with Joe Fox - comedian, actor and former IT professional - for an conversation about what it really takes to walk away from a stable career and bet on yourself. Joe grew up in Oklahoma City watching Eddie Murphy and knowing somewhere in the back of his mind that he wanted to be on stage. But life had a different plan first: a business degree from the University of Oklahoma, a corporate IT career in Dallas and years of doing the responsible thing while sneaking off to community theater, talent shows and late-night open mics whenever he could. Eventually something had to give. They talk about the moment Joe decided to make the move to Hollywood, what the transition looked like, and how skills he picked up along the way ended up being exactly what the industry wanted.
