From Darkness To Light -Acts 26

In the sermon from Acts chapter 26 Pastor Keith give some practical tips on how to develop and effectively share your testimony like the Apostle Paul did with King Agrippa. The Apostle Paul was prepared to testify of God’s rescue in his life and to be effective gospel witnesses we must also be prepared. Paul share with story with structure and purpose. Paul's structure outline for sharing his story was: • Before Conversion- V4-11 • Conversion- V12-18 • After Conversion- V19-23 Paul shared his story with Readiness- V1-2 Paul shared his story with Respect- V2, 25 (most excellent Festus) Paul shared his story with Reason- V25 (I am speaking true and rational words) Paul sought to use language & words that were helpful and made sense to his audience. Paul shared his story with Relevance- V6-7, 27 (King Agrippa, do you believe the prophets? I know that you believe) Paul shared his story with Boldness-V26 (the king knows about these things, and to him I speak boldly.) Paul share his story with Purpose to share the gospel- V24 Paul's purpose in sharing his story was to tell the gospel story of Christ the Savior who suffered and died for us, and who rose again on the third day.
