I was a child raising children. I was lost and holding on for dear life. I quit eating, sleeping and went through life in a boring routine. Teaching was the light in my day that took my mind off of my depression. I found joy in a new lesson, a new book, and the time spent connecting with my students. Teaching was my escape.
