From Dirtbag Climber to Bucket List Guide - Mike Downing

On this episode of the BucketLister Podcast Keith is chatting with Mike Downing.Mike started out as one of the original Dirtbag climbers on US scene in the 1980's.As an experienced big wall climber, sport climber, ice climber and World Cup climbing competitor, Mike naturally started a business that was all about climbing. Mike was the second ever sales representative of Arc'Teryx, when he met two guys in a garage in Canada. Mike bought some climbing harnesses and chalk bags off them to see if he could sell them. Over the years Mike went on to run their largest account in the US.Mike has worked with outdoor brands such as Suunto, La Sportiva, 5.10, Arc'Teryx and Montane.
