Dave was not around drinking as a child and came from a very artistic family, his mother was an opera singer and his father was a plan drawer for air crafts basically he designed them. After the was he became a pastor.Daves childhood was not perfect, his older brother was considered weird and it was the only consuming his parents, leaving little tine for him. His brother has what we now call aspergers syndrome.At 16 Dave joined the big top circus. This is where his drinking began. But he was highly functional for a very long time. Dave quit for 3 weeks to train for a horse show, but relapsed harder than ever. The seed had been planted though and he joined AA. His rock bottom came at 6 months sober and he finally gave in to accepting true help. He has now been sober for over 30 years.During those 30 years Dave has been busy training horses. RVing around the country, painting customer motorcycles and has written 5 books with the 6th in the works. Dave is all about making connections and finding community where ever he goes, something he never had as a child.
