From Drugs to Freedom - Kenzie's Story Part 1

Today, I speak with my client Kenzie. This is part one of a very deep and intimate conversation about drub and alcohol addiction and how it can ravage a person’s life. But we get to hear how Kenzie eventually beat her addiction and changed her life! Kenzie is an incredible client of mine who has such an amazing story I wanted to share this with you. Be ready for many plot twists, ups and downs, and some evidence that it doesn't matter how dark things may seem, you always have the power to change. Kenzie lives in Utah and talks about her experience being raised in a restricted religion and family. Once she was in high school, she decided to rebel against that and fell into addiction. She was in and out of rehab multiple times and was even homeless at one point. We hear how she was put in ADHA and depression at an early age. She talks about how drugs and alcohol made her feel “normal” and learning how to live her life without them. Kenzie talks about being betrayed by someone she trusted and how that lead her to spiral with meth. It took her years to hit rock bottom and realize she needed to change her life.
