From Dry Bones To An Army

Key Scripture: Ezekiel 37:1-7 (The Valley of Dry Bones)God is able to turn any hopeless situation around, into victory! In Ezekiel 37 we read about Ezekiel’s encounter with God where before him he sees a valley of dry bones. This was a depiction of the dire state of Israel and often dry places we find ourselves in. When God asks Ezekiel what he sees, his response is unadulterated by his emotions, as declares that only God knows the answer. Ezekiel understood the importance of seeing through the eyes of faith in any and every situation. We simply ought to pray, “God, help me see.” Once we are able to truly see, we can give it a name, and when it has a name, we can call it and it’ll come!In the same way God is calling His people to see through His eyes, the eyes of faith, and to prophesy according to His Word! As Ezekiel prophesied what God was saying, a valley of dry bones turned into an army. God is calling us to speak His life into our situations. We discover that the purpose of our hopeless situation being turned around is so that everyone will know that He is God, that He did it, and that our hearts become aligned with His heart.Finally, God’s purposes are to bring His people together, because we truly are BETTER TOGETHER. He wants to unite us into ONE ARMY under ONE KING, King Jesus!
