We discuss Jayne's early career and life on an FPSO. We also dive into the world of safety management in one of the most dangerous jobs in the world. We also reflect on some of the challenges of the industry and the real effects of offshore living, including the impact of COVID on the offshore oil and gas industry. Jayne has since come out of retirement and works as a consultant, mentor, and advisor to major petroleum companies and those working within them.
