From Fear to Love

Without the fear of the Lord, we develop a fickle type of love and fail to mature in discipline and fidelity to God. The Scriptures and the fathers teach us that the fear of the Lord is more than a matter of respect and reverence. God is a consuming fire who demands to be feared, but how we can grow in love with God with a healthy fear is the real question. Fr.
