From Film Festivals to Luxury Yachts: Courtney McPherson's Unconventional Path-Ep 19

On today’s episode we have Courtney McPherson. Courtney was born and raised in Johannesburg, South Africa, but immigrated to Portugal 3 years ago.  Most of her life, she kept a journal, writing out movie scripts, poems and songs in her spare time.  She wanted to be a script writer and after assisting a film company as a “runner”, she was offered an internship to attend the Cannes Film Festival in 2011.  After some time, she realized the film industry wasn’t for her, but it lead her to the yachting industry. While she was on this journey, she began observing the habits and routines of the wealthy, the rich and the famous.  Sometimes she still wonders if Samuel L. Jackson has stuck to the same morning routine as he did when he was a guest on the yacht she worked on.  While she is working on yachts, her writing still called out to her.  She also has her own personal development blog.
