From Fleeing Marxism to Seeking Truth

Today I have a conversation with a new friend who was born in the former Soviet Union, Boris.  We discuss the lies he lived under and the truth about Marxism.  We unpack how those experiences shaped his life, and how his views on things going on in the present day. We expound upon similarities to the Soviet style system and how it compares to our bloated, corrupt, bureaucracy, we have today in America. We then talk about our conversations we have had about our faith and most specifically Jesus and what he offers that no other worldview or person does.  Boris being Jewish culturally, shares his perspective and I share mine. He discusses how he sees Grace and forgiveness in Jesus's teaching, whereas that is not offered  in modern day religions including Marxism. We dabble with some talk on Elon Musk, Bible Prophecy, and ultimately our desire to be good dads to our children and seek the truth.  To many more conversations Boris. Peace and Love
