From food conscious to FULLY conscious with Julia Christine

from Bloom with a Boom! Grounded by daily practice. · host Rebecca Schlosser

Imagine a world without diets or scales, but where people are able to live day-to-day without turning to food for comfort, maintaining better physical and emotional wellness through eating mindfully - which probably means you’re doing most things in life mindfully as well.  On this episode we’re chatting with my friend Julia Christine, a complete wellness coach and host of the podcast “Life After Breath.” Julia  was experiencing her own rock bottom during the 2020 pandemic; she was 300 lbs, consumed by a job working 60-80 hours a week and depressed to the point of near suicidal. A friend recommended a nutritional coaching program but Julia was too miserable to care about weight or fitting into smaller clothing.  She just wanted, as she describes, the “happy,” that she knew would come from feeling lighter and more energetic. 130 pounds lighter and several emotional breakthroughs later she went for it again - this time the big plunge was quitting her job and toxic work environment to become a coach and guide others through their personal wellness transformation.   We explore so much with Julia, and here are some highlights: The power of our breath in….everything! Joy, mood regulation, awareness of who we are and what we want The mental shift required for sustainable weight loss and better health How to eat multiple times per day for physical and also cognitive health Inner child awareness and how it effects or decisions and habits Effortlessly loving ourselves and finding self worth How we can separate our responses from our reactions to  those around us Ways to connect more with Julia!
