from Carryduff Free Presbyterian Church · host Carryduff FPC

Date: Sunday, 16th November 2025Time: 7:00 p.m. (Doors open 6:30 p.m.)Venue: Carryduff Free Presbyterian Church, Killynure RoadSpeaker: Mrs Margaret CameronBorn in 1959 into a devout Roman Catholic family in the Glenshane Pass, Mrs Cameron was reared in the traditions of Rome—rosary at the fireside, weekly confession, First Communion, and the League of Mary. Yet from the age of 16½, while training as a nurse at Muckamore Abbey Hospital, the Lord pursued her with relentless love. Through gospel tracts, faithful witnesses like Sharon Wiley, Mary Orange, and Elizabeth Atchison, and even a joiner from Ballymena, God placed “stumbling blocks” on her path to hell.On the 25th March 1977, at a quarter to two in the morning, she knelt by her bed and cried, “I need to be saved—NOW!” That night she trusted the Lord Jesus Christ alone, who “offered one sacrifice for sins for ever” (Hebrews 10:12, KJV).For 38 years she prayed for her parents. In her mother’s final days, the Lord opened the door—no family at the bedside—and Mrs Cameron’s dying mother confessed, “I’ve done it, Margaret—I’ve asked the Lord to forgive my sins and make me ready for heaven.” Six months later, her father too heard the gospel at his bedside. “There is one God, and one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus” (1 Timothy 2:5, KJV).Come and hear how the Good Shepherd sought and saved a lost sheep from a tricolour-flagged road in the Glenshane Pass, and how “by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God” (Ephesians 2:8, KJV).Special Music – Gospel Choruses led by local brethrenPrayer & Fellowship – Light refreshments afterwardsAll Welcome – Roman Catholics, Protestants, those of no faith—“Come unto me, all ye that labour and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest” (Matthew 11:28, KJV).Free Admission – An offering will be taken up for the Lord’s Work“This is a faithful saying, and worthy of all acceptation, that Christ Jesus came into the world to save sinners; of whom I am chief.”1 Timothy 1:15 (KJV)
