Day 159 | Ecclesiastes 11:7–12:14; 1 Kings 12:1-20; 2 Chronicles 10:1-19; 1 Kings 12:21-24; 2 Chronicles 11:1-4; 1 Kings 12:25-33; 2 Chronicles 11:5-17Solomon’s final words echo with the clarity of a man who has seen everything the world can offer: “Fear God and obey His commands.” As Ecclesiastes ends, so does Solomon’s reign—marked not by peace, but by consequences. His divided heart leads to a divided kingdom. Rehoboam, his son, rejects wise counsel, and ten tribes rebel. Jeroboam rises as king but quickly leads Israel into idolatry. What follows is a national fracture, fueled by fear, pride, and disobedience. Yet in the midst of the chaos, faithful believers choose God over comfort, relocating just to worship freely.
