FROM GLORY TO GREATER GLORY

Scripture: “The glory of this present house will be greater than the glory of the former house,’ says the Lord Almighty. ‘And in this place I will grant peace,’ declares the Lord Almighty.” – Haggai 2:9 Devotional Message: God is a God of progression, not regression. What He has planned for your future carries a weight of glory far greater than anything you have experienced in the past. Even when life seems like it has lost its shine, God declares that your next chapter will surpass the former because His glory never diminishes—it increases. This promise is not about buildings or material wealth alone, but about God’s presence dwelling in greater measure. The true glory is His Spirit working in you, transforming you, and filling your life with His peace. When you surrender your plans and yield to His will, you open the door to greater encounters with His power and purpose. No matter the setbacks or disappointments you’ve faced, God has already spoken a better word over your future. You are moving from strength to strength, faith to faith, and glory to greater glory. What’s ahead will outshine what’s behind. Today, Ask Yourself: Am I trusting God’s promise of greater glory ahead, or am I holding on too tightly to the past? Prayer: Almighty Father, thank You for the assurance that my future in You is brighter than my past. Help me let go of what was and press into what You are doing now.
