Lisa's divorce ultimately cost her over $80,000 in legal fees to resolve - and that was just the beginning of her legal journey.Lisa then spent 10 years fighting to enforce her divorce judgment after she was divorced. Because she couldn't afford a lawyer, Lisa learned how to navigate the legal system herself, while her ex fought her every step of the way. She coined the term "legal abuse" to describe what happens when someone weaponizes the legal system to control, harass, intimidate, and impoverish their ex-spouse.
