Lexy’s start with music started with relationships with her family. Her love of music was discovered when spending time with her father and then when she was encouraged by her brother to play drums for his rock band in her early career. She immediately knew she loved music and went on the learn how to play guitar, lyrical structure, and write lyrics of her own. She had begun writing music as something to pass the time and express herself as well as let her emotions, which she kept very hidden, out and off her chest. Eventually, she found that it would save her life. Lexy’s lyrics and music are inspired by real events, people, characters, feelings, and emotions. Just the true, raw events of life we can all relate to.
