In May 2023, Brighton secured its highest-ever Premier League finishing position (6th) and qualified for European club competition for the first time! ⚽In a career in professional football spanning close to 26 years, Paul has also held various senior positions at MLS club Vancouver Whitecaps FC, Tottenham Hotspur FC and The Football Association. Paul was named CEO of the Year at the UK Football Industry Awards in 2023, becoming the first person to win the award twice having previously won it in 2013. In the same year, Paul was also honoured with an Order of the British Empire (OBE) and an Honorary Doctorate from the University of Sussex.
