From Interviewing a Kent State Guardsman to Meeting a Life Changing Accident Head On: Emerson Alum and Film Maker, Brian Weidling, Continues To Inspire Through Storytelling!

Brian Weidling  (Emerson College '96, film producer and documentarian)  reflects on his time at Emerson College plus shares his experience with the 1970 Kent State shooting story and interviewing a guardsman who participated in that horrific event. Weidling also shares stories from his career, his life experience after developing physical disabilities from a car accident, and his current project with Theatre by the Blind - the only all-blind theatre troupe in America.  Weidling has been capturing 2 years worth of their stories and process as they prepare for the upcoming performance of The Braille Legacy. The Braille Legacy is a musical and the story of Louis Braille. It'll be the first time the all-blind troupe will perform a musical.
