This week Liz and Alrik welcome Vietnamese Writer/Director Le Van Kiet to the show to talk about his latest film, The Requin which started as a Vietnamese film which he ended up translating to English. Kiet talks about why he made a shark movie, his life as a writer/director in Vietnam, making the top grossing box office film in Vietnam Furie (at the time) and how he got approached by Hulu/Disney to direct the upcoming action movie The Princess which is coming out in 2022!
