She began performing professionally when she was only twelve and went on to study vocal performance and theater at Southern Methodist University in Dallas and at AMDA in New York City. She later earned her MBA at University of Texas at Dallas and then embarked on her solo career when she moved to Washington DC in 2018. She has performed at more than 2,500 events for such distinguished guests as Presidents Bill Clinton and George W. Bush.A bit about Melissa: In 2009 Melissa Rose started her business, The Dancing House  in the basement of her home.
