After enduring a staggering twenty-seven arrests and facing the harsh reality of homelessness, it was not until he was sentenced to nearly four years in jail that he was finally able to gain true clarity. Michael's time behind bars served as a catalyst for a profound spiritual awakening. It became evident to him that Substance Use Disorder (SUD) is not simply defined by a single rock bottom, but rather by the many struggles one faces. Just like Michael, individuals grappling with Substance Use Disorder (SUD) can harness their personal experiences as stepping stones towards a better life. Apart from offering motivational content, M2 the Rock has extended its reach by establishing a charity that provides valuable resources and services to those in dire need. M2 the Rock Services is dedicated to connecting individuals with Michael and other Certified Recovery Coaches, as well as additional resources. The aim is to inspire those battling substance use disorders (SUD) to uplift themselves from their own rock bottom.
