From Maiden to Mother for a Second Time: A Story of Becoming

Okay, the title makes this episode sound OVERLY serious. Like college freshman Rachel discussing “life” on rooftops with boys playing Dashboard Confessional on the guitar. I wish I were joking. I went to art school, my bad. Listen! This episode is full of laughs, insights and some very real moments. A little over two weeks ago my husband and I welcomed our second son into the world. His birth story is one of trust, transformation and a few hiccups. And yea of course- spirit guides. Out of everything I expected from his birth, there were a few things I was not expecting - mostly to embody my “full transformation” from Maiden to Mother.
