Scott Fischer sat down with Matt Shively, Associate Pastor and Counselor at The Grove. Their conversation focuses on the intensity and hardships families feel during the aging journey.Matt has a passion for walking with hurting people and for leading them towards hope in their darkest hours. He has a Bachelor’s degree in Christian Ministries with an emphasis in Youth Ministries and a Master’s of Arts in Ministry with an emphasis in Counseling and Family. For twelve years he served as Pastor of our Preteen and Jr. High ministries and has been doing Pastoral lay counseling for the last nine years amongst his other tasks at The Grove.
