From Movie Theater to Steelers Roster | Pittsburgh Steelers News

Kevin Jobity Jr. just made the Steelers roster as an undrafted defensive lineman—literally getting the call while watching “Coyote vs. Acme” at the movie theater. Six-foot-four, 300 pounds, and a late bloomer in football, he turned heads with his work ethic and agility during camp. Drafted after another DL, he stayed laser-focused, blocking out distractions and grinding every day. His high school coach convinced him to try out despite being a soccer and basketball star, and he eventually committed fully to football, bulking up and hitting the weight room hard. With a pro basketball-playing dad pushing him, Jobity’s journey from the theater to the NFL is pure perseverance—and it’s wild.
