From Neighbors to Distillers: The Oaklore Distilling Story

We hit the road to Matthews, NC (just outside of Charlotte) to hang out with Matt and Tom, the founders of Oaklore Distilling Co.!   From walking their kids to the bus stop to launching one of the most exciting craft distilleries in North Carolina, their journey is packed with passion, late-night ideas, and a serious obsession with the magic of oak maturation.   In this episode, we’re breaking down: How they accidentally won a blind tasting with their own whiskey 🥃 The science of the Piedmont climate on aging barrels ☀️🍁 A sneak peek at their upcoming Prohibition Oak release (aged with actual 100-year-old wood!) 🪵👀 Why they treat every single bottle with a strict "make it right" philosophy. Grab a pour, sit back, and come along for the ride! 👉Don't forget to like, subscribe, and drop a comment with your thoughts on Oaklore Distilling!   If you enjoy our podcast, we would greatly appreciate it if you would like and subscribe to it and also leave us a 5 star review.
