From Now On

When Jesus calls His first disciples in Luke 5, He doesn’t invite them to self-improvement or private spirituality. He calls them into a life that will reach beyond themselves. “Follow Me,” Jesus says, “and I will make you fishers.” From the very beginning, Jesus defines discipleship as a process that leads outward.
