From Prison to Peace: Eddie’s story of Redemption

In this episode of Made for Christ, Pascal and Alyssa sit down with Eddie, who found an unexpected spark of hope in a place of darkness—the Pima County Jail.Raised in a Christian home, Eddie accepted Christ at six years old, but by his early teens, he chose a path far from God—drawn into drugs, crime, and eventually years inside the Arizona prison system. His testimony unfolds with raw honesty: addiction, shame, violence, near-death overdoses, and moments when hope seemed impossible.Yet through every chapter, God was quietly, faithfully chasing him. Eddie recounts how the Lord used small, divine interruptions to break through his darkness and call him home. While serving a final prison sentence, Eddie opened a Bible and read it cover to cover. There, the seed planted in his childhood sprang back to life. He encountered the transforming power of Jesus and was baptised at 37. Today, he’s living free, sober, and rooted in faith, helping men rebuild their lives with Christ at the center.Eddie’s message is simple and profound: Submit to God when He calls. Don’t ignore His voice. His grace is sufficient.
