From Prisoner to Professor - Andre Norman (E81)

As an inmate in the Massachusetts penal system, Andre Norman rose to the top of one of the largest prison gangs in the country before deciding that he wanted to turn his life around. Andre taught himself how to read, earned his GED, and learned to understand the law, all while in prison, which helped him win his appeal. He was released after serving 14 years in prison. Andre is now a spokesperson and regularly travels the country to lead workshops, manage inmate programs, and inspire people to become the best version of themselves they can be.
