Zach's dad died when he was 7 years old. He had a hard time with that and was constantly told he was not good enough and couldn't focus on tasks. This low self esteem led him in out of trouble with the law. When he was taken to prison he missed his twin boys being born. While he was in the "hole" he received a 30 second phone call you would never want to receive in prison. That he survived all of this makes his second chance story all that more powerful.
