In the Spring of 1961 The Beatles made their first professional recordings under the guidance of Bert Kaempfert. The German orchestra leader, composer and A&R man for Polydor records.Kaempfert was looking for musicians to back his recent signing Tony Sheridan. John, Paul, George and Pete Best would record two sessions for Polydor.
