From Saving Homes to Redesigning Them with Rayana Schmitz

Career pivots are no joke, especially when making the decision to go from a stable career to running your own business. But when done out of the desire to do something you love, it can be one of the most rewarding career shifts of your life.   Meet Rayana, one of my favorite examples of a woman who followed her desire and made a successful career out of it. When Rayana and I first met, I was her first interior design client after she made the decision to leave her career as a firefighter to focus full-time on her budding design business. Fast-forward to today, she has over 11k followers on Instagram, despite having a shy approach to social media, with clients who seek her out specifically for her unique style and vision.    From fighting fires to transforming spaces into unique works of art for clients, Rayana has done it all.
