Michelle af Klint explains how her youth was riddled with several traumatic experiences and even a point in her life when she expected to be just another headline in the newspapers, having even her very life threatened. However, it was not until she started studying the Bible, getting a deeper look at who Jesus is, that she realised he had gone through similar trauma but responded very differently. Instead of turning to self-pity, he forgave. Up until this point she had not believed in God, but from then on eveything changed.
