From Storms to Spiritual Warfare Pt.2

When you face spiritual warfare unprepared, you often enter a battle without recognizing you’re in one. What starts as discouragement can become despair, what starts as temptation can become compromise, and what starts as a distraction can slowly pull your focus away from God. Instead of standing on truth, you become vulnerable to fear, confusion, doubt, and the lies of the enemy. Being unprepared doesn’t mean you’re powerless, it means you’re trying to fight a spiritual battle in your own strength. The enemy looks for areas where we’re not watchful, not praying, and not grounded in God’s Word. His goal is not always to destroy you immediately; often it’s to wear you down gradually until you stop trusting God and start relying on yourself. When spiritual warfare catches you unprepared, you can find yourself reacting emotionally instead of responding in faith. But when you’re rooted in God’s Word and dependent on Him, the battle may still come, yet you’ll be equipped to stand firm, knowing that the victory belongs to the Lord.
