(McDonald Farm)What would a County Fair on a historic farm be without a showcase for agriculture?This is the first year that the reimagined Hamilton County Fair - presented by Little Debbie - will be held at McDonald Farm in Sale Creek.This Veterans Day weekend at the Fair, you’ll find “Shorty” there.Renita Beaty - who goes by “Shorty” - is Soil Conservationist for Hamilton County Soil Conservation District.She’s also Vice President of the Hamilton County Farm Bureau Board.Shorty provides education on agriculture and conservation for everyone from pre-schoolers to adults - and she’ll be sharing that knowledge at the Fair.(Hamilton County Fair)
