In this episode of Discovering Beauty with Orbit Deen, I share the story of a moment that changed the direction of my life.In 2017, after years of working as a filmmaker, educator, speaker, and creative professional in Los Angeles, I suffered a fall that left me stranded on my living room floor for two days. What seemed like a painful setback became the beginning of a journey that would force me to rethink independence, disability, caregiving, success, and what it truly means to live a meaningful life.As someone with cerebral palsy, I had spent much of my life focused on what I could accomplish rather than the support I needed.
