From the Frontlines: An Essential Backgrounder for the Israel-Hamas War - Part 1

"From the Frontlines" is an ADL podcast which brings listeners to the frontline in the battle against antisemitism and hate. If there were ever a frontline, it is Israel in the wake of the barbaric atrocities committed by the Hamas terrorist group on October 7th. Since that terrible day, so much misinformation about the history of the conflict, the players, the geography and so on has been circulating. To set the record straight, ADL Deputy National Director Kenneth Jacobson was the featured guest on an ADL NY/NJ webinar on December 14, 2023. He has worked for ADL for more than 50 years and lived much of the history that is being discussed. On that webinar, ADL NY/NJ Regional Director and the host of this podcast, Scott Richman, asked him a series of his own questions and of those who tuned in to the webinar. Kenny's clear answers and great insight were so well received that a slightly edited version of that discussion is now being released as a two-part podcast.
