From the Frontlines: How Did These Schools Get an A on the ADL Campus Antisemitism Report Card?

from From the Frontlines · host Scott Richman, Regional Director of ADL for New York/New Jersey

"From the Frontlines" is an ADL podcast which brings listeners to the frontline in the battle against antisemitism, hate and extremism through conversations with ADL staff, advocates and, in this podcast, five college and university leaders who are getting something right. This podcast an edited version of a webinar from the end of last semester, titled "Top of the Class: Report Card Success Stories," bringing together five campus leaders from institutions that earned an A on ADL's most recent Campus Antisemitism Report Card. It was sponsored by the ADL NY/NJ Region's Campus Committee. ADL's 2026 Campus Antisemitism Report Card, its third annual assessment, found that 58 percent of the colleges and universities that ADL evaluated received an A or a B, up from 41 percent the year before and just under 24 percent the year before that. That is real, measurable progress. And right here in ADL's New York/New Jersey region, six schools earned an A: Queens College, Baruch College, Brooklyn College, Rockland Community College, NYU and Vassar College. Five of those six joined Regional Director Scott Richman for this conversation: 1. President Frank Wu of Queens College, part of the City University of New York. 2. President S. David Wu of Baruch College, also part of CUNY, 3. President Michelle Anderson of Brooklyn College 4. President William Mullaney of SUNY Rockland Community College 5. Dean Rafael Rodriguez, the Vice President for Student Engagement and Dean of Students at New York University Here are links to the resources mentioned during the webinar: - ADL Campus Antisemitism Report Card: https://notoleranceforantisemitism.adl.org/campus-antisemitism-report-card - ADL Not on My Campus Resources: https://notoleranceforantisemitism.adl.org/ - ADL Campus Antisemitism Legal Line: https://www.legal-protection.org/ - Take Action with ADL: https://notoleranceforantisemitism.adl.org/take-action-campus This conversation was recorded in April 2026.
