From the Frontlines: Leo Frank and the Founding of ADL Part 2 of 2

"From the Frontlines" is an ADL podcast. It is hosted by ADL New York/New Jersey Director Scott Richman and focuses on ADL's efforts to fight antisemitism and all forms of hate in the United States and around the world. The battle against antisemitism and hate is not a new one. ADL has been waging it since 1913 when it was founded in the wake of the horrific Leo Frank case. The opening of the show “Parade” on Broadway this month has brought renewed attention to the Leo Frank case, as it is the subject of this musical. This podcast takes us back to the world of 1913, to the facts that led to the lynching of Leo Frank, to the environment in which Jews lived in this country at that time and ultimately to the founding of ADL. This is part 2 of a special 2-part podcast, featuring the incomparable Kenneth Jacobson. He is ADL’s Deputy National Director and the longest serving staff person at ADL having worked for the organization for more than 50 years.
