This episode revisits one of the most powerful conversations I’ve had—the story of Rais Bhuiyan, a man who was shot in the face in a hate crime right after 9/11… and who chose forgiveness over hatred. Living in NYC, I witnessed how a city shattered by tragedy could come together with kindness—how strangers became family, even in the worst of times.
