Maybe not on his body—but on his soul. That’s why he cries out, “Lord, please, don’t remember those… but remember me.”Many young people today carry a silent guilt. Nobody sees it, nobody talks about it—but inside their mind there’s a constant echo: “I know what I did. I know who I am.” And with that silent confession comes a terrifying fear: “Does God still remember?” The answer is in the text—God doesn’t pretend nothing happened, but He chooses to act according to His mercy, not according to our mistakes. The psalmist understood that maturity brings the realization that sin is heavy, real, and painful… and only then do we see how great God’s mercy truly is.Maybe today you’re struggling with memories, wrong choices, repeated sins, hidden addictions, or feelings you can’t explain.
