From The Vault: Titans vs. Bengals — The Opening of Nissan Stadium

It was the beginning of a new era in Tennessee Titans history. On September 12, 1999, the Titans played their first game at what was then Adelphia Coliseum, opening their brand-new home against the Cincinnati Bengals. In this episode of From The Vault, we go back to that historic day and revisit the sights, storylines and memories surrounding the opening of the stadium that would become the heart of Titans football. We’ll look back at the 1999 Titans, the atmosphere surrounding the stadium’s grand opening, the matchup with Cincinnati and what that first game meant to a franchise entering a new chapter. Before Nissan Stadium becomes a piece of Titans history itself, let's go From The Vault and revisit where it all began. Plus, Chris catches you up on the current Titans coming off a 23-10 loss to the Jets. A spotlight on the player that actually performed well in the game, as well as good news on the injury front.
