And so today there were two significant developments that coincidentally occurred at the same time, one in the halls of Congress in Washington, DC, and the other in Delaware, where President-elect Joe Biden has his headquarters.In Washington, momentum began to get rid of Donald Trump – either by invoking the 25th amendment or rushing through impeachment. It was all because of yesterdays’ riots, which he incited, that resulted in an attack on our Capitol, and in effect, on democracy itself.In Wilmington, Biden announced his new attorney general and others who will play critical roles at the Justice Department, as Biden seeks to restore that department to its rightful place as an independent entity whose loyalty is to the rule of law and the Constitution, not to any one person or political party.Taken together, it was a significant occurrence, so that’s the topic of today’s podcast.
