Ryan Wedding, a former Canadian Olympic snowboarder who competed in the 2002 Winter Games, transitioned from a professional sports career into a major figure in organized crime. He eventually built a multibillion-dollar international drug empire, moving massive quantities of cocaine across North America and reportedly ordering multiple murders to protect his interests. After nearly a decade on the run with a $15 million reward offered for his capture, he was arrested in Mexico City in January 2026.
