From Working two jobs to becoming a full time sponsored Hoka athlete with Ahmed Muhumed
from Running In Circles · host Zach Hamilton
Today on the podcast I’m joined by Ahmed Muhumed! Ahmed is a pro runner for Hoka’s Northern Arizona Elite and most recently qualified for the world cross country championships by placing 3rd in the senior race in Richmond, Virginia. He started off his college career at Boise State and later on he ran at FSU. After graduating college he got a job as an assistant coach for FSU as well as another part time job. At first he thought he might not be able to compete at a high level of running outside of college but eventually he decided to go all in, quit his job and move to Flagstaff, Arizona. In this episode we discuss the difference between confidence and self belief, the leap of faith he took when he quit his job, his passion for writing and more. If you enjoy the episode and want to show your support, please leave a five star review on Spotify or Apple Podcasts and let me know what your favorite part was.
