From Worship to Influence with Special Guest Rachelle Fletcher

On this episode of The Vision TV Show, host Destiny Yarbrough is joined by Dr. Day Gardner, Pastor Jearlyn Dennie and Pastor LeaAnn Pendergrass for a conversation with singer-songwriter, worship leader and ministry founder Rachelle Fletcher. Rachelle shares how her vision grew from a lifelong love of music and worship into a calling to teach, gather women and help people recognize their God-given identity and purpose. Drawing on Habakkuk’s instruction to write the vision clearly, she explains that vision may shift, but believers must seek God and faithfully pursue what He places before them.Rachelle reflects on becoming a pastor’s wife and co-pastor at only 26, when she and her husband pioneered churches and served local communities with very limited resources. When families came to them needing food, toys, utility assistance and other practical help, the couple committed to giving whatever was in their hands and connecting people with others who could meet the need. That commitment eventually became The Goodness Project, an outreach that has helped steward millions of dollars in resources, supported more than 1,000 charities and opened doors for people in crisis to experience the love of Christ. Rachelle emphasizes that assistance should never be treated merely as a transaction. Meeting a need builds a relationship, creates an opportunity to share the gospel and demonstrates the goodness of God in a tangible way.The discussion turns to Rachelle’s work through The Gathering for Women, where she encourages women to reject limiting labels, understand their identity and step confidently into their callings. She believes women should celebrate one another instead of competing, recognize gifts that others may not yet see in themselves and connect emerging leaders with the people and resources that can help them move forward. Her goal is to foster generational impact while creating a community in which women hold one another accountable, remain humble and feel free to be authentic. Influence, she says, brings greater responsibility, and leaders need trusted people who will sharpen them and help them resist pride and isolation.Rachelle also speaks candidly about pressures her family faced in pastoral ministry. Church members sometimes placed unrealistic expectations on her children or treated her as though she were superhuman. She responded with vulnerability, reminding others that pastoral families experience pain, make mistakes and need grace. Rather than placing leaders on pedestals, believers should keep Jesus at the center. She credits her prayerful mother with teaching her to trust God and encourages families to cultivate His presence at home so children can know God personally.As her ministry expanded beyond music, Rachelle and her husband served internationally, including helping address a need presented by the mayor of Jerusalem. The experience confirmed that influence is not about status, but using access and resources for others. She urges believers to practice generosity and describes dominion as faithful stewardship of everything God provides.The panel explores what it means for Christians to walk in spiritual authority. Rachelle explains that believers are seated with Christ, have access to His kingdom and are called to bring order where there is chaos. Walking in dominion begins with trusting God, agreeing with His Word and remembering that His power works through His people. Circumstances may not immediately change, but Christ can renew the heart and transform one’s perspective. Rachelle says trials can produce spiritual oil and strength, and she encourages women to stir up their gifts, move beyond insecurity and remember that their calling is about God’s message rather than personal recognition.Rachelle performs her original song “Water in My Desert,” written during a season when she could not solve what she was facing. She explains that hope came when she laid her struggle before Jesus, trusting that she was not alone and God was not surprised. The song grew out of that difficult place to offer hope to others. She encourages viewers to rely on the Holy Spirit and recognize that believers are a royal priesthood—called, equipped and anointed to carry His voice and speak for the voiceless, including vulnerable children.The program closes with an invitation to receive Jesus Christ as Savior and Lord and embrace a new beginning.
